The Central GST & Central Excise Commissionerate, Daman has been created with the implementation of GST by merging the erstwhile Central Excise & Customs Commissionerate, Silvassa and the erstwhile Central Excise & Customs Commissionerate, Daman.

At present, the Jurisdiction of Central GST & Central Excise, Daman Commissionerate extends to union territories of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
